Community is a key pillar of our value prop. It's essential to an amazing learner experience and growth within our enterprise clients (companies like Stripe, Flipkart, Tinder + more) as well as ensuring a healthy, ongoing instructor supply. The Head of Community will report directly to the CEO!
Sphere is where vetted leading experts run live, cohort-based courses for professionals around the world.
 
We are building the world’s largest decentralized corporate university and growing rapidly:

- Recurring annual contracts with companies like Stripe, Shopify, Flipkart, Tinder, Accenture and Flexport

Sphere is looking for a Head of Community who will work directly with the founders to build out our community function across learners, enterprise and instructors.
 
What you’ll do at Sphere:
 
- Build out processes and strategies to enhance the learner community in the pre, in-cohort and post cohort phases of our product (focusing on Engagement aspects from the SPACES model)
- Manage a team of 4 part-time community managers who are domain experts in the topic areas of our courses
- Work closely with the Product team to find ways to leverage community for growth within our enterprise clients (focusing on Acquisition aspects from the SPACES model)
- Work closely with our Content team to provide ongoing value to our alumni community through the proprietary Sphere Portal
- Develop processes and strategies around our instructor community to drive ongoing instructor supply to our marketplace
- Work closely with our CEO / Co-Founder to build a communtiy of L&D / enablement representatives (i.e. help form the foundations of our customer success function)
 
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
 
- Built communities or worked in community-based roles in other businesses
- Managed teams / community managers before
- Experience working in an early stage startup
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A self-directed, creative and curious nature. You can wear many different hats and you consistently execute on goals
